Chinese Brush Painting
Hey everyone,
I am back here to make another post of the happenings in China. Last Saturday we went over to Mr. Song's house for dinner with Destiny. After dinner Destiny and I learned how to write some Chinese characters, while Josh and Mr. Song played Go.
The fifth character was the one that I drew (Mrs. Song did the rest) and as you can see I do not have the ability to make a straight line :). I got better with practice though, I promise :D.
Here is my handy work after a few more tries. The last one here is mine. I must say I wasn't all that bad.
This is Mrs. Song and me while I was making my first attempt.
Well that is everything so far. I miss everyone a lot and wish the plane ticket was cheap so everyone could come visit. Hope all is well with everyone back home and I will be in touch.
Love,
Jen

Dear J and J,
You are indeed beautiful people. How clever of your friends to catch on so quickly. We REALLY enjoy you blogs. Iknow you are working hard but you also seem to be having a good time. Your Chinese friends are amazing.
We are looking forward to Thanksgiving. Grandma Paula is having her family and we are invited so I will finally get to hold my great grandson Jacob. We hav'nt seen your parents Josh in ages, they are busy I guess. Andrea is on her last co-op placement, working in Oakville so she can live at home, likes her job.
Both grandpa and I have colds, sore throats, the whole nine yards. It's that time of year.
Keep well, look after each other and keep thos blogs coming
Love JAB Clark
Hey Jen and Grimes,
You two are very luck people. I'm glad you are getting a lot out of your trips. I think it's important not only to teach but to take every advatange of learning and experiencing another culture.
Life in Toronto is busy. Teachers college is crazy. I do about 500 reflections a week. I reflect, re-reflect and then reflect on others reflections. All I do is reflect.
Anyways, as the golf season winds down I'm beginning to miss the opportunity we might have had to play one last round of golf. Thanksgiving won't be the same without you two.
I'm glad you two are enjoying your time so much. Keep up the good work and eat a lot.
Chung
